Start Times and Rest Stop Hours of Operation

Nearly 300 cyclists are pre-registered for the 2019 Tour de Madison.   If you’re not one of them, walk-up registration begins on site at Graves Mountain Lodge at 7am.

Metric Century cyclists will take off at 8:30am.

Those doing the Intermediate route will leave at 8:45am.

Family cyclists will wait until 9:00am.

The weather report is fantastic:  It should be just over 70 degrees at the start but getting hot by afternoon.   Fortunately, the thunderstorms should be later on the day.

The Brightwood Rest Stop at mile 19 will be staffed from 9:30-11:30 for both Metric and Intermediate cyclists.

Good Hope, which is on the Metric Route, at mile 33 and 43 will be open from 10:30 to 2:00pm.

Hoover Ridge, which is the last rest stop for both Metric and Intermediate cyclists at 51 miles (Metric) and 31 miles (Intermediate) will be open form 10:30 to 2:30pm.

Graves Mountain Lodge will have a great meal waiting for you at the end of your ride.  And Chamomile and Whiskey goes on stage at noon for your entertainment.
